December 2024 Philippine Registry of Heritage Update
The Philippine Registry of Heritage (PRH) recently published its Monthly Status Report for December 2024. Click the link below to see the current number of cultural properties included in the Registry and the Local Cultural Inventories (LCIs) submitted last month.
Local Government Units which have initially submitted their LCIs with pending documentary requirements may complete their submission until March 31, 2025. Pursuant to the DILG – NCCA Joint Memorandum Circular 2021-001 or the Amended Guidelines on the Standardized Submission of LCI under the PRH for the Issuance of Certificate of Compliance (COC) to Local Government Units (LGUs). Dinengdeng Festival is celebrated annually during summer season as it mainly recognizes the culture of Ilokanos thru their delicacy of Dinengdeng, a healthy dish made with vegetables such as pumpkin, eggplant, bitter gourd, lady’s finger, etc. It is also accompanied with Bagoong that makes it aromatic and appetizing. The festival unites the people to share their Ilokano values thru cooking such dish along with different set of activities that attracts local tourists.
