The Cape Bojeador Lighthouse is one of the most significant sights in the Ilocos Region and is located in the Municipality of Burgos on Vigia de Nagparitan Hill. It was constructed in 1892 using bricks that were baked in old kilns at the foot of the hill. For many years, the lighthouse has helped seafarers navigate their boats and ships across the rough seas off the coast of Ilocos. With its distinctive tower lamp, keeper's quarters, and supporting structures, the Cape Bojeador Lighthouse is a prime example of a lighthouse model from the 19th century. It still exists today as a living memorial to its creators and is regarded as a distinctive piece of the country's historical and cultural heritage.
